DANI + SIVE Tour – Dublin

DANI is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her sound is inspired by the Irish traditional melodies and showbands she was raised with, her vocals blend bluesy coarseness with lullaby softness.

Upon completion of her MSc International Conflict and Cooperation she specialised in the creation of safe spaces for those affected by conflict.

DANI spent 2016 facilitating music workshops and performing in Europe and the Middle East, working in the field of conflict resolution. She has just returned from a residency programme in Indonesia and is working on new material.

Sive is a songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist with a voice that “sweeps along displaying folk and jazz nuances with the confidence of one who knows” (Eamon Carr, The Herald). Her unique sound weaves together her love for the craft of songwriting with her enthusiasm for experimentation and intricate arrangements.

Having run a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign last year, Sive released her second album ‘The Roaring Girl’ to critical acclaim this May. She has toured extensively in Ireland, The UK, Europe and New Zealand and has performed on RTE’s Other Voices, TG4’s Róisín, TV3’s Ireland AM, ARTE’s Metropolis (Germany/France) and ETV’s Terevisioon (Estonia).

When she’s not making her own music, Sive works as a facilitator and Arts in Health practitioner in various community and healthcare settings around Kildare.
