Max Marshall at The Cobblestone

Max Marshall is a relative newcomer, yet unique addition, to the Canadian folk music scene. Set to soulful fingerstyle acoustic guitar, he writes the human experience as a candid allegory, rooted in myth and folklore. In a performance that extends from soft introspection to boisterous country blues stomps, Max Marshall gives audiences a heartfelt, personal performance featuring a guitar style that is largely underexposed.

Born in Windsor, Ontario, Marshall has performed publicly since childhood and began performing in bars at the age of 14. Max Marshall has 10 years experience as a music educator and has spanned through various instruments and styles(Jazz/Bluegrass/Classical/Soul/Funk/Motown). Marshall has chosen fingerstyle acoustic guitar as his songwriting medium with a preference for Folk/Blues/Ragtime as his true musical purpose.

2016 saw Marshall touring extensively through; Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. And for 2017, with a new full-length release set for the Spring, Marshall plans on expanding his performances to the Canadian festival circuit, as well as audiences in the US, EU and UK.

This will be his first visit to Dublin and The Cobblestone.
