Damien Mullane | Colin Farrell | Seán O’Meara

Damien Mullane – In a short space of time, Damien Mullane has a musical CV that any veteran musician would be proud of. Still only 32, he has been described as a virtuoso with an avant-garde style of playing. Damien won numerous All-Ireland titles on both accordion and melodeon and began his professional career as the accordionist in the legendary Frankie Gavin’s band De Dannan.

Damien has toured extensively, performing as far afield as China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India and the U.S in some of the worlds most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Slane Castle, The Electric Picnic and Glastonbury. He has performed for numerous high profile figures including US President Barack Obama and President Bill Clinton, Prince Albert of Monaco, current Irish President Michael D Higgins and former Irish President Mary Robinson. Damien has also collaborated musically with the likes of Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and Sting (Police) to mention a few.

Colin Farrell – Born in Manchester, England, into a very musical family to parents from Co. Galway and Co. Cavan, Colin started playing the fiddle and tin whistle from an early age and won numerous titles at the Fleadh Cheoil. He began playing with St. Malachy’s Ceili Band when he was 12 years old and was a founding member of the band Ceile, with whom he recorded the album Mancunian Way. Since then, he has made a name for himself performing and recording with an array of great musicians in Europe and the US, including such groups as Flook, Grada, Karen Casey, John Doyle, Tim O’Brien, The Elders, Julie Fowlis, The Michael McGoldrick Band and is currently playing with the band Lúnasa. Colin has also played and recorded with numerous dance shows such as Spirit of Ireland, Dance of Desire and Magical Rhythms of Ireland. Colin is also a composer whose tunes have been played and recorded by numerous bands and musicians. In 2005, Colin was awarded a Masters Degree in Music from Limerick University. Living in Florida since 2005, when not touring Colin has been teaching at schools and various camps around the US and Europe. Colin’s 2010 solo debut album ‘On The Move’ was named one of the years 10 best albums by The Irish Echo and his second album ‘Make A Note’ released in 2015 was awarded Instrumental Album of the Year by LiveIreland.

Seán O’Meara – is an All-Ireland champion guitarist who comes from Limerick. He is the guitarist with The Olllam and a founding member of the modern traditional Irish group Project West. At just 24, Seán has covered a lot of ground. He has gigged all over the world in countries including USA, Russia, Chile, China, parts of North Africa and all over Europe. He has toured and gigged with many different shows as well as some well-known musicians from across the board including David Gray, Máirtín O’Connor and Martin Hayes.
