Annette Mooney is the People Before Profit candidate for Dublin Bay South. People Before Profit has been active in the area around repeal, housing, water charges, environmental issues and workers’ rights issues such as the nurses’ strike. We want to use a county council seat to further highlight these issues and help build grassroots campaigns.
To do this, we need to raise some money! We don’t have the same kind of financial backing as the likes of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil, so we rely on small donations from ordinary people to fund much of our work. Funds raised on the night will go towards printing leaflets, election posters and social media advertising. We’ll be hugely grateful for any support.
