Pull the Wool are a two-piece Folk Duo from the foothills of the Dublin mountains. Having spent their formative years growing up in Tallaght, they decided in 2009 to form a band. Since then, they have been gigging and playing on the festival scene nationwide for the last number of years.
Pull the Wool is made up of:
Cathal Daly – Acoustic and electric Guitar & Vocals
Sean Kelly – Bouzouki, Acoustic Guitar, Bohrán & Vocals.
Together they seamlessly blend Trad, Folk, Americana and Blues to leave You, the listener, wanting more. Halfway was recorded in the autumn of 2016, in The Orchard Recording Studio in Enniscorthy Co. Wexford by the Talented Brendan Carthy. With the help of Brendan’s talented ear and hard graft, these five tracks are the beginning of an exciting and long musical journey for Pull the Wool.
Their eagerly anticipated debut EP “Halfway” will be released on the 30/09/2017 at The Cobblestone with special Guest Artists on the night. This will be a great night of original music, one not to be missed.
