Scene of the Rhyme Xmas Special

Scene of the Rhyme is an event and also a group of spoken word artists that include poetry, comedy and music as a dynamic act that travels the country performing at festivals and events. The act came together in Tullamore 4 years ago when Cormac Lally started Scene of the Rhyme.

David Mallaghan is a spoken word artist who recently performed in Berlin and Amsterdam. David Hynes is a poet/comedian/radio host and raconteur. Richard Brennan is a performance poet and Co-MC of Scene of the Rhyme whose work is on the Leaving Cert curriculum. Paul Curran is a spoken word artist from Dublin with a huge following.

Our special guests on the night include Johnny Graham, Mustafa Saed and RíRá. Johnny Graham is accomplished comedian who runs Ireland’s Smallest Comedy Club in Galway. Mustafa Saed is an extremely funny and topical comedian who has performed all over Ireland and also abroad. RíRá has been called the “Godfather of Irish Rap” who was a member of Scary Éire. The combination of these artists and performers is what makes Scene of the Rhyme what it is. Come see the show.
