Eli Waltz & Korina Zambrano
Eli Waltz & Korina Zambrano are two American folk-artists making their Dublin debut at The Cobblestone.
Eli is a world traveler and folk musician who focuses the sum of his experiences on the road into a soulful, singular sound. Known for his whimsical lyricism, unconventional chord progressions and gut-punching harmonica solos, Eli’s music incorporates American Blues, rock ’n’ roll, Chinese Guqin and European Baroque music. He is influenced and identifies with musicians ranging from Ray Lamontagne to Pink Floyd to Shakey Graves and Gregory Alan Isakov. Waltz has shared the stage with nationally-recognized artists including Willie Carlise and Andrew Combs. Sir Paul McCartney and other musical heroes have heard and praised his music.
Korina is an independent folk-artist and singer-songwriter best renowned for her charming melodies and evocative lyrics. She composes her raw sound through expansive guitar voicings and captures human experience through her unique perspective. Korina draws upon folk, jazz, classic rock, and pop to create her innovative melodies, but is most notably inspired by legendary songwriters Joni Mitchell, Elliot Smith, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. Korina crafts a deep vulnerability and relatability in her music, and looks forward to connecting with fellow artists and her future audiences.
