Isaac.I.Ockenden & The Ruskavellas

Isaac.I.Ockenden is an experimental ballad singer of sorts. Born in Dundee on the east coast of Scotland, then grown out the fertile soil of a rambling soul. His songs spin tales from the bowels of Glasgow to the tranquil mountain peaks of far flung lands, from life at sea to doing time in the cells. Being from an ambiguous position in time & space he mixes raw howling vocals, frailing banjos, buckfast, gentle drones, stomping feet & crackling guitars as the back drop for his re appropriated & arranged folk songs of murder, drinking, life on the road, debauchery, love, healing, sailing, monsters, silliness....& So on it goes on. A heavily passionate performer of songs old and new. Isaac is being Joined for the first time by R.F Chaney, A Dublin based drummer & Twiddler of the syth, A prolific collaborator & Composer of original material.
